SATs over 700 Math/English Tutored AVID (general academics) class for one semester at Santa Cruz High. Tutored in math classrooms at Branciforte Middle School, Marina High, Overfelt High, and Aptos High. Tutored over a year at Cabrillo College. I have worked with students of varying skill levels and disabilities. Education courses include 3 specifically geared around math tutoring at Cabrillo and CSUMB, also Education In a Changing Society for general education. I intend to be a high school teacher and see tutoring as a way to constantly improve how I communicate ideas to help different people understand difficult concepts. I believe everyone can succeed if we find the right way to help them.
