Why I want to be a tutor: I want to become a tutor because I want to learn how to help children do better in school. I'm going to be a teacher someday, so I want to gain as much experience as possible before I have a classroom of my own. Previous Experience: I have hands-on experience in a second grade classroom. I helped the students with reading and made sure they stayed on task while the teacher was teaching. I also was asked to take students to a separate area in the classroom so that they could receive extra help from me.
