I am very outspoken and believe in hands on learning and taking ownership of your education. I can make learning about the different Ocean Zones fun a memorable which will resonate better with your child a lot more than a textbook can. If learning is a positive and enjoyable experience then your son/daughter will be excited to learn and will want to continue to broaden their knowledge. I have experience teaching students from disadvantaged communities and engaging them in the material at hand. I can tailor my tutoring style to what is needed and will benefit your son/daughter. It may be that your son/ daughter needs someone to just walk them through the process. Or I may need to provide a more hands on approach and really spend the extra time to insure that the material is being learned. I pride myself on making sure your son/daughter does not memorize or regurgitate information. Rather comprehends the material and applies the material.
